Also at the event, Loreal was crowned first alternate.

Both finalists will go on to compete at Miss Gay America Oct. 10-14 in Columbus, Ohio.

The competition for female impersonators, or drag queens, took place in Columbia for the first time last year.

The theme this year was “Broadway Babies,” inspired by numerous Broadway musicals and costumes. All preliminary-qualified contestants competed in male interview, evening gown and talent over the three-day pageant.

The show starts at 10 p.m.

D’Manda and a special lineup of guests will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a great lineup of entertainment.

To help celebrate the luck of the Irish, we’ll also have green beer on special all night.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show is scheduled for 10 p.m.

This year’s competition will be April 26 through 28.

Admission is $10 for the first two nights of the pageant. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the pageant begins at 7 p.m.

The final night pageant, which will include the crowning of Miss Gay Missouri, America, begins at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is $15 per person.

Please note that no free admission passes will be accepted on either of these nights.

“Princesses and Villains” will feature Miss Gay Missouri USofA 2011 Mahajanay DeMornay and Miss Gay USofA 2011 Luscious.

D’Manda Respect will host a special Mardi Gras-themed installment of “Babes in Boyland” to benefit Monica Dymonz, reigning Miss Southern Missouri USofA. The show starts at 10 p.m.

And, if you’re looking to celebrate Mardi Gras on “Fat Tuesday,” join us for a drink in the lounge starting at 5 p.m. with karaoke at 9 p.m.

The pageant is planned for Saturday, Feb. 11 beginning at 8:30 p.m. and will feature Miss Gay Missouri, America 2011 Madison Elise and Miss Heart of Missouri 2011 Ginger Nichole.

Beginning March 16 Ladies’ Night will be scheduled for the third Friday of every month.

There is no cover for ladies 21 and over all night.
